Action figures and Lego

Hello, and welcome to another exiting post from life according to Gwen! In the event category, Uncle Zombie (Mom's brother) came over! He is really fun to play with (especially action figures) because he sets up an adventure path both outside and inside for our heroes. Sometimes he takes our toy animals out (name a species, we'll probably have it), puts them in a group, and pretends they're genetically mutated. He also lets us blur the line between DC and Marvel. In one game we had Spiderman and the Hulk collaborating with Superman and Green Lantern. In another, Supergirl (my character) had a crush on Hal Jordan (one of UZ's characters). The games most often involve kidnapped heroes. In today's adventure, he sent us through twists and turns to find the Dragon Skull of Destiny. It's purpose was to get back our Power Matrix, and the crystal that poweres it, because if not, the DC/Marvel headquarters (a.k.a our treehouse) would explode in 24 hours. We had to use the skull to open a force field that Trollag, a fat troll, was putting up to keep us from taking the matrix back. Hawkgirl (my character) said, after finding out the base was about to explode, that she didn't want to die because she had a date tomorrow. Hulk (one of Uncle Zombie's characters), who liked to randomly smash things, helped steal back the Batman Sword of Killing Undead Things. He said that Hulk no like bugs, and then he smashed the wall, and as rocks and plastic bugs fell away, in an area between two rock ledges, there was the sword. UZ is also a genius with Lego. He can build virtually anything! Anyway, this proves that if you put imagination into it, even the most boring things can be awesome! And that, was Gwen's point of view!

Hope it'll be better next year

Hi again. The ceighlidh last night was quite fun and tiring, but there was no dancing! Can you believe it? No dancing! What`s a party without dancing...not a party, that`s for sure. Anyway, Zombieboy had tons of fun running around like a fiend outside. There was a park and a small spiderweb, and also a whole bunch of secret passage ways. In the basement, there was a couple of really rowdy teenagers who wouldn`t get out, no matter what. This really ticked my bff off, `cause that`s the syncro team`s practice area. Among our plans to get them out: if the boy started talking, I would say "JFH, did you say something?" then she would say "No, I didn't say anything." We had a laugh over that. Then we went up, got a lovely backup team consisting of Emc2, Barbie, Spiderman (JFH's other siblings), Zombieboy, and a couple of Emc2's friends. Then we went down, and yelled (quietly) for them to get out. Down with the syncro's headquarters, there are bathrooms and a shower. On the shower's wall there was a small, brown spider. Knowing me, a certified arachnophobe, I screamed. But, I am a scorpio, and scorpions are arachnids, so I went up to the boy who was going to smack it, and said right in his face, "you now, that's my cousin there on that wall." Then he said, "How? It'a a spider. You are a human. It's impossible."And I said, "I'm a Scorpio and scorpions are arachnids. So are spiders. come on JFH, let's get out of here." I said to the nearest person, "make sure nobody smacks it." Then we left. Anyway, goodbye. And that, was Gwen`s point of view!

My very, very first post.

Hello, my name is Gwen, and this is MY blog. No one else's. Just getting that straight. So, first I'm going to talk about why I'm blogging. I had some inspiration from a family friend, you may know his blog, http://ceremonialsoup.blogspot.ca/. I read it a lot, and it was so funny, nonsensical, and just plain cool that I asked  Dad if I could blog too. You know it's serious when I ask  Dad, not Mom, I usually ask her. I thought there was an age limit, that he'd just say "No, you're too young." That he'd flatly refuse. But, here I am, in the world of the blog. Hello, blogworld! Nice to see you! Anyway, this evening, I'm going to a ceighlidh (pronounced kaylee), a maritime dancing party, with Zombieboy (my brother), my parents, and it's my Bff's Mom organizing it, so she's going to be there too. I'm super exited! I have type 1 Diabetes, which means I have to watch the level of sugar in my blood, and take insulin shots. It's a real pain. I am also homeschooled, along with Zombieboy. It's a mix of a real big pain, because me and Z-boy fight allot. But it is also cool because I don't have to get up at six, and I'm on my own schedule. I think I'm going to bring this post to an end, because this is only my first post, and I can post bajillions more if I wanted to. And that, was Gwen's point of view!
